2 Months!!!

Mommy and Daddy can't believe I'm already 2 months old!!! I'm getting so big. I just saw my doctor on Monday and I am 23 inches long and I weigh 11lbs. 9oz. I like to sit in my swing and watch my mobile. I enjoy listening to music. I really like it when Mommy and Daddy talk and make faces with me. I like to talk and smile a lot! I can hold my head up a bit, though its still a little wobbly and I can support some of my weight on my legs. I'm a strong little girl. I've also been starting to sleep through the night, which makes Mommy and Daddy very happy! :)

These are just a few of the ways I sleep...peacefully in my car seat. I like to fall asleep in the car. I don't always enjoy being put into my car seat, but once we get in the car and get going, I usually relax and fall right to sleep.
In my swaddle me laying in my bassinet. Mommy and Daddy like to wrap me up in these when I sleep so I don't startle myself and wake up.
This is me on my changing pad...I had just woken up from a nap and Dad was going to change my diaper and then I decided to fall back asleep again. :)

Happy Birthday to Josh!!!

This is Daddy and I on his birthday. Both Dad and his friend Brian Baker share the same birthday, so they usually celebrate together. Brian and Misty came over that night and we ate Qdoba for dinner and the guys played some Rock Band.
I helped Daddy open his present from me. I didn't have much money to spend, so I just got him a little treat...chocolate covered cherries. One of his favs!
This is Daddy and his very good friend Brian. Happy Birthday boys!!!
The day after Daddy's birthday, he took the day off, so we drove out to Snoqualmie Falls to get out and enjoy the beautiful Washington scenery. I thought the falls were pretty and everything, but I was more interested in taking a nap.

On Friday night, Daddy and Brian had another birthday celebration at the Robbin's house. Us, the Bakers, Kings, and Robbins all got together and had a "make your own pizza and game night." We ate yummy pizza and played some Scattergories. Fun times.

Enjoying my Play Gym

Thanks Grandma Peggy for my play gym! I love laying on it and looking at all the pretty toys. I also like listening to the music it plays. I can't wait until I get a bit older and can actually play on my own with the toys!

Maddie's First Easter

Smiles Galore

Maddie has been smiling more and more each day. Her very first "real" smile was at exactly 5 weeks. I (Meagan) was gone at a meeting for a couple of hours and Josh was watching her at home. I came home just in time to feed her and when I walked in I said, "Hi Maddie!" and smiled at her and she smiled right back like she was so excited to see me! So adorable! Its a little hard to capture her big beautiful smile on the camera, but we'll keep trying and post more as we get them! :)
