Espinosa Reunion

We went to Minnesota for a long weekend for 2 family reunions on Josh's side.  The first was the Espinosa reunion, Josh's Mom's side.  It is a HUGE reunion.  It takes place the same weekend every year, which also happens to be Blue Earth Day (the town it is held in) so they have a parade that everyone goes to together.  Here is Grandma and I.

Grandma and Auntie Natalie.

If I had a dollar for every time Josh has made that face with Natalie in a picture we would be debt free!

 My first freeze pop experience.
As you can see, I loved it..."More Please!"

Later, at Fran's everyone decided to get out the dance video game and Maddie decided to show off her moves....and Auntie Amanda and Auntie Natalie of course!

4th of July

We went to Kirkland (not WA for you Seattelites that might be viewing this) for July 4th.  They have a great parade and a little carnival afterwards.

I am a pro at waving at all the people in the parade!

 Sportin' Daddy's shades.
Drinking from a big cup!  Don't worry it was not an adult beverage!
Enjoying a 4th of July sucker!  Delicious!!!

Memorial Day

First of all, I do realize that Memorial Day was a few months ago.  Please do not hate me.

This is Mommy and I on my first train ride.  I loved looking out the window at everything going by so fast.

So as Memorial Day weekend approached, Mommy and Daddy and I decided we wanted to go do something fun.  We decided on Chicago.  We did not have the best days weather wise to choose from.  Saturday, we were unable to go, Sunday it rained cats and dogs, and Monday was VERY hot.

As you can see we picked the VERY hot day!

We took the train into the city and then took a bus to the Lincoln Park Zoo.  Apparently everyone else decided to come to Chicago at the same time cause it was very busy downtown.  Therefore, the buses took FOREVER.  You can see how frustrated I was...

Because it was so hot, none of the animals were out doing anything exciting, so I decided to mimick them and take a little cat nap.  Also, the reason you see no animal photos in this post.

Since the zoo was so hot and uneventful, we decided to head to Navy Pier.  It was much more comfortable there with the strong breeze coming off the lake.  On our walk there, Mommy jumped in a fountain and got soaking wet to cool  off.
Like my snookie hair?

We look so fancy in our shades!
This has been a tiring day, I think I will just prop my feet up and take a load off!

Applesauce Face

I love love love my applesauce.  In fact, I love it so much I want to spread it all over my face.  See me in action below...

Silly faces in the setting sun.

Book worm

I just can't decide which book to read, they are all my favs!

Daddy is reading me "Guess How Much I Love You" and I like to put my hands up when its time for the bunnies to reach up to say "I love you this much!"  I even do this when I see bunnies in other stories now too!
I am so concentrated, I wonder what is going to happen next???

Sleepy Head

This is how Daddy found me one day after my nap.  Missing one sock and one pair of pants!
I was practicing body slamming my dolly before I fell asleep.
Mommy and Daddy found me trying to hang from my mobile.  Needless to say this was the last day the mobile was up.

My tiny little hand sticking out the side of my crib.  So precious.
